<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can improve the interests in the games synergistically by enhancing the relationship between the games processing within the game area and the identifying information and the performance images, both intensifying the interests of the players therein. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine has the game board which has a game member in the permeable playing area, a display means which is so arranged behind the game board as to make the playing area overlap the display area where the images can be displayed, a starter region detection means for detecting the game balls passing through the starter region, a specified game state decision means for determining whether the specified game state should be generated or not, a display mode decision means which determines the display mode to be derived or displayed as the result of displaying the identifying information and a display control means for controlling the display of the image.
