<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional system at the time of locking/unlocking etc. of a vehicle by a third party, because information concerning the third party must be set beforehand in the vehicle, a vehicle owner terminal, and an information center, and operation between them is carried out via a public network, resulting in complexity of the system due to secured safety. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a new porter service system which is comprised of an in-vehicle machine mounted in the vehicle, a vehicle owner terminal, and a third party terminal. According to the system the vehicle owner terminal receives key information and the other cryptographic key from the in-vehicle machine, and third party information from the third party terminal, and generates additional information by enciphering the third party information and use permitted vehicle information by the other cryptographic key, followed by transferring the additional information together with the key information to the third party terminal. The third party terminal transmits the third party information together with the received key information and the additional information to the in-vehicle machine. Then the in-vehicle machine creates two cryptographic keys, and enciphers vehicle unlocking information by one of the cryptographic keys as key information which is then transmitted to the vehicle owner terminal together with the other cryptographic key, followed by decoding the key information from the third party terminal by the one cryptographic key and the additional information by the other cryptographic key, to thereby confirm the information and unlock the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
