<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar water heater using an auxiliary heat source capable of saving energy by effectively using hot water of the solar water heater, and minimizing usage of hot water heated by the auxiliary heat source. <P>SOLUTION: The solar water heater 1 using the auxiliary heat source is provided with a first mixing water faucet 7 and a second mixing water faucet. In the first mixing water faucet 7, on the basis of a temperature of solar water produced by the solar water heater 3, a mixing ratio of the solar water and hot water heated in a storage tank 4 is adjusted to produce primary mixed water. In the second mixing water faucet 8, secondary mixed water adjusted to a set temperature can be produced by carrying out final adjustment of a mixing ratio of the primary mixed water and tap water such that the primary mixed water becomes the set temperature. Consequently, energy can be saved by maximally utilizing the solar water produced by the solar water heater 3, and minimizing use of the hot water by the first mixing water faucet 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
