<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack easily preventing overcharge of a lithium ion secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: The battery pack 1 is equipped with the lithium ion secondary battery 5 having an electrolyte containing lithium ions, a positive active material, and a negative active material intercalating/de-intercalating lithium ions, a pair of plates 70, 72 between which the lithium ion secondary battery 5 is interposed, and a conducting path 46 electrically connected to the positive active material or the negative active material of the lithium ion secondary battery.
