PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust output intensity in a plurality of basic colors for composing CMYK primary/secondary/tertiary/quaternary colors when adjusting the output intensity in the plurality of basic colors for composing the ground color of printing paper. SOLUTION: When a desired adjustment value is inputted for the ground color of a recording medium, the ground color of the recording medium is adjusted by an adjustment value in which the output intensity of the plurality of basic colors is inputted, and an adjustment is made based on the adjustment value in which the output intensity of the plurality of basic colors is inputted for the CMYK primary/secondary/tertiary/quaternary colors.
