PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enjoy services by various kinds of servers connected to diverse IP networks only by the combination of numbers from a portable telephone. SOLUTION: A subaddress system currently utilized by an ISDN line is applied for defining a format partially using a telephone number as a command field and an argument, and a command is sent to various kinds of servers(an SIP server 3 and a groupware server 4) connected to the IP network 7 according to the command via a gateway 2, thus enabling the portable telephone 1 not only to perform a call with an IP telephone terminal 5, but also to access services provided by the server connected to the IP network 7 except the IP telephone terminal 5.
