PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable device enabling a user to satisfactorily listen to sounds interlocking to the display of a display unit. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a first case 2 including a base 7 and a protrude 8 protruding from the base 7, and having a speaker hole 13 provided on the protruding part 8; a hinge 3 rotatably provided on the protrude 8 via a rotary shaft 5; and a second case 4 rotatably provided on the hinge 3 via a rotary shaft 6 substantially crossing the rotary shaft 5 at right angles. The hinge part 3 is configured into a U-shape having a center portion 3m to which the second case 4 is coupled and a both end portion 3n branching from the center portion 3m and each coupled to a pair of side surfaces 8b of the protruding portion 8.
