PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear solenoid valve which can further improve absorbing force for a movable core. SOLUTION: A flat housing end surface 23 continued to skirt of a projected portion 19 is formed to the external surface of a housing 14, and an end surface 26a of the movable core 26 in the side of the projected portion 19 and the end surface of housing 23 are set to become almost the same surface. Otherwise, the end surface 26a of the movable core 26 is allocated in the positional relationship that it is projected to the side of projected portion 19 more than the end surface 23 of the housing.
