CARRIER TAPE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embossed tape which prevents electronic components from dropping out of pockets in a taping process for the embossed tape driven at high speed or in a mounting process. SOLUTION: A carrier tape has sprocket holes 10, each of which shows a buffering structure consisting of incisions 11-13 for vibration absorption formed. This structure prevents the electronic components mounted on the carrier tape from dropping out of the carrier tape when the tape is driven at high speed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
