PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition for optical materials excellent in moist heat resistance, moisture-curable, and exhibiting excellent adhesive properties, particularly to glass and plastics, and to provide an adhesive composition for an optical material having the properties above and further giving a cured product of high transparency. SOLUTION: The adhesive composition for optical materials comprises (A) 100 pts.mass of a polymer containing an alkyl acrylate monomer unit and/or an alkyl methacrylate monomer unit in the main chain and at least one hydrolyzable silicon-containing group in one molecule, (B) 1-100 pts.mass of a silane coupling agent, (C) 1-100 pts.mass of an epoxy resin, and (D) 1-50 pts.mass of a curing catalyst.
