PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave generator capable of offering uniform electromagnetic field distribution in a test plane. SOLUTION: A radio anechoic room 7, a signal generator 10 generating high frequency signal, a plurality of radiation antennas 5, a plurality of power amplifiers 13, a turn table 3 for putting test appliance at one end of the radio anechoic room and a mount base 6 for placing the radiation antennas at another end of the radio anechoic room are provided. The radiation antennas 5 comprises a reflector 5d, a radiator 5c, and a plurality of waveguide devices 5a, 5b and the waveguide devices 5a, 5b are arranged in V-shape relation to the radiator 5c. The reflector 5d is arranged in a relation so that the reflection direction of wave to the radiator 5c is put in between each wave director direction so that the electromagnetic wave is emitted from each corresponding radiation antenna toward the test appliance 2 so as to form a uniform electric field distribution in the test plane.
