PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embroidery data processing apparatus to process the embroidery data for sewing an embroidery pattern by an embroidery sewing machine and a recording medium to record an embroidery data processing program with which, particularly, the embroidery data is divided for processing when a size of the embroidery pattern formed on the basis of the embroidery data exceeds the prescribed possible size of sewing in the taboret and a position of the divided embroidery data in the whole embroidery pattern can be confirmed. SOLUTION: The divided stitch data 40 is made by dividing the stitch data 36 on the basis of the size of a division range 35 and the position information corresponding to the position of the divided stitch data 40 in the stitch data 36 is constituted to be added to the divided stitch data 40.
