The holding support for the casting-in body in tables such a body to be fixed using only one side of the core. It consists of around or rectangular, shaped or smooth holding rod (1) and a receiver (2) for the casting-in body. The receiver is welded or pinched onto the holding rod, forming a single unit with it, so that the holding support can be enclosed in the core during the production of the sand core.
