Motordriven wheelchair

The wheelchair is electrically driven and equipped with at least one wheel positioned in front of the driven pair and at least one supporting wheel at the back which can be vertically moved. The supporting wheel is connected to a power transmission unit in the shape of intermediate wheels activated only when the chair is lifted at the front and driven until the obstacle is overcome or the step mounted. The wheel is kept in a raised position when the chair is moved across level ground.
