The stopwatch incorporates a mechanism for starting and stopping the second hand and the minute hand for timing events. The minute wheel (30) for showing time elapsed is connected to a heart-shaped cam (32) with two symmetrically arranged spiral surfaces (31) for synchronization of the minute indicator with the minute hand. A cam follower (28) may be moved to engage with this surface. A pawl (18) may engage on spaces between teeth (34) on the wheel. A control lever (9) has teeth (23) engaging on an isolator wheel (25) with sawtooth-shaped teeth (24) and coaxial with the minute wheel. A wheel (1) with pegs (2) engages a finger (7) on the end of the control lever. |
