Optimized cooling air guide

A housing (5) outside on a motor's (1) outer wall (MOW) holds the motor's electronics (8). Covered by a fan cowl (4), a fan wheel (3) on a front side generates a current of air (COA) directed in parallel to the motor's axle (M) for cooling the MOW. A fan control element (9,9') on the MOW deflects the COA so that the COA is directed onto a surface of the housing to be cooled opposite the MOW. An independent claim is also included for an air control element.
