PURPOSE: A slide type mobile terminal having a sliding zoom function is provided to enhance the convenience of operation by implementing a prompt and accurate zoom function and make a user have dynamic fun in using a digital camera or a camcoder. CONSTITUTION: A main body(120) includes a key pad(122) for inputting signals and a microphone(124) for inputting a sound signal. A cover(100) is slidably coupled so as to overlap with the front surface(121) of the body(120) in a longitudinal direction and includes an LCD screen for outputting an image. A camera(102) photographs an image. A jog shuttle(112) is rotated according to a sliding movement of the cover(100) and linearly increases or decreases magnifying power of an image displayed on a display unit by the camera(102). |
