<p>A scraper or strigil for removing depilatory composition from the skin comprising a handle 44 and a non-shaving head 46 having an undersurface from which one or more fins 48 project transversely. The fin may be of elastomeric material and may be of continuous or discontinuous (Figs. 10, 14) length, and be straight, curved (Figs.7, 14) or wave-like (Fig. 13) depending from substantially flat undersurfaces. Another embodiment shows absorbent pad surfaces (410, 420, Fig.16) located at ends or in between the fins, the pad also used as a source of fluid or composition. Still a further embodiment shows a curved undersurface (304, Fig. 15) from which fins extend in fanned arrangement. The fins may be arranged in rows each having different lengths and/or rigidities.</p> |
