<p>The sheets (2) to be used for the production of a book, magazine or similar object are clamped together and transported to the cutting unit (9) on a conveyor belt (7). A first crude cut is performed by a rotating blade (15) determining the approximate size of the sheet (2) whereas the final, precise cut is made by a linear stationary positioned blade (17). Both cutting devices (15, 17) are combined in order to form a compact cutting module (9).</p> |
