Filling machine comprises a non-controlled gas path with a throttle formed in each filling element. The gas path connects a return gas pipe with a return gas channel common for all the filling elements on the rotor side. Preferred Features: The return gas pipe is connected with a collecting channel common for all the filling elements via a controlled gas path. A container support is assigned to each filling element to lift a container to be filled and to lower the filled container.
