A system comprising a scanning means (110) and processing circuitry (104) is arranged to model a three-dimensional object. The system is arranged to take a scan of an object placed upon the scanning means (110), to process the scan using the processing circuitry (104) and to generate a three-dimensional computer model of the object from the scan. The computer model may be used to control for example a rapid prototyping machine (1820) or a CNC milling machine (1700) to produce a three-dimensional representation of the object. |
