A method in which tire pressure time series are recorded using a pressure measurement instrument and transmitted at varying frequencies to a receiver. The frequency at which pressure measurements are transmitted is dependent on the detected rate of variation of tire pressures. Thus if the tire pressure is varying rapidly measurement values are transmitted more frequently. Independent claims are included for: a corresponding computer program for implementation of the method; and a device for monitoring the pressure within a motor vehicle tire. |
