<p>The oven has a press stamp (22) via which pressure is exerted on a blank (26) of dental material in a matrix mass of a muffle. An intermediate body (28) is positioned between the press stamp and blank, and has a heat conducting capability less than the blank, the press stamp and the matrix mass of the muffle. The intermediate body has an outer closed hull (40) that comprises of a temperature resistant material. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a press oven in which preheated dental material is subjected to pressing.</p> |
