发明名称 Improvements in and relating to cryoclectric memories
摘要 1,082,124. Superconductive memory arrays. RADIO CORPORATION OF AMERICA. March 9, 1965 [March 16, 1964], No. 9905/65. Heading H3B. [Also in Division H1] In a continuous sheet cryoelectric memory the return conductor for the drive currents lies over a surface of the superconductive memory plane for substantially its whole length. This reduces noise in the sense line due to radiation from the unshielded leads. The drive and return leads may be arranged parallel and both located above the sense plane to reduce noise due to penetration through the memory plane of the field associated with the drive current, as shown in Fig. 4. The return leads may be branched and interleaved with the drive conductors. The sense plane is preferably as shown in Fig. 5, having two slots 90, 92 defining outward and return paths 91, 93 and 95, joined at corner 94. Terminals 96, 98, 100 are connected to two primary windings on a transformer so that sense signals are additive and produce an output in winding 112, whereas noise currents cancel. In a modification (Fig. 7, not shown) the superconductive plane forms the current return path for sense signals, being joined to the sense plane at the corner opposite to that at which connections are made. Both the memory plane and the sense plane have extensions leading to terminals connected to an output transformer the extension on the memory plane being wider than that on the sense plane and being connected to two terminals, one on each side of the sense plane terminal.
