FIELD: cartridge-type filters for cleaning finely dispersed drops of liquid, separation, filtration or coalescence of immiscible liquids from gas or liquid flows; oil, chemical and gas industries. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed coalescing cartridge has framework with coalescing material and flexible drainage members secured on it; flexible drainage members are made from porous cord whose free volume exceeds free volume of coalescing (filtering) material and are located in front of layers and/or in between layers and behind layers over helical spiral or over wavy lines: at horizontal position of cartridges - over helical line; at vertical position of cartridges - over wavy lines; projections of porous cords are crossed in different layers. Porous cords are made from metal knitted screen. ^ EFFECT: increased productivity; enhanced efficiency- reduced hydraulic resistance. ^ 4 cl, 2 dwg |
