FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, loading equipment with cutting tools for cutting of silage and hay. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus has frame with horizontal forks and U-shaped knife composed of frontal member and two side cutting members, said members being connected with one another. Fork central tooth is fixed rigidly. Other teeth are arranged in longitudinal slots of horizontal beam for displacement by means of leverage-pivot mechanism. Central links of said mechanism are pivotally fixed on pins. Cantilevered part of pins is equipped with transverse threaded aperture for connection to tightening screw. Two stop bearings are put on supporting parts of tightening screw for displacement in longitudinal U-shaped slots of guides. Rotation of tightening screw 28 is performed for increasing or decreasing pitch of teeth 3 depending on specific kind of feed. ^ EFFECT: reduced feed loss, elimination of manual works and increased efficiency in portioning of feed. ^ 9 dwg |
