FIELD: well drilling equipment, particularly rock cutting devices, namely roller bits adapted to drill wells in oil, gas and mining industries. ^ SUBSTANCE: bearing assembly has axle, bush with outer and inner friction surfaces, split ring and thrust journal bearing having orifices for forcing lubricant from vessel joined to the bearing. Bush is spaced from the axle and cutter. To provide four-stage protection against ingress of abrasive particles into bearing assembly the bearing assembly is provided with bumper washer press-fitted on the axle, with sealing rings press-fitted on bearing assembly and on cutter, with metal-and-rubber gasket and sealing means. The bearing assembly has vessels with lubricant to be applied on friction surfaces of the axle. One vessel contains non-fluid oil which also serves to increase air-tightness. ^ EFFECT: increased service life. ^ 3 dwg |
