FIELD: antenna engineering; radio links of communication and navigation systems operating in linear and rotary polarization modes. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed antenna has first and second radiators affording operation in linear and rotary polarization modes, respectively. First radiator is made in the form of solid hollow metal conical surface installed above metal screen, with its vortex facing this screen and connected to feeder of first power channel. Second radiator is made in the form of turnstile dipole installed in aperture of mentioned conical surface. External ends of turnstile dipole arms are connected to conical surface edge and those abutting against center of turnstile dipole, to feeder sections of second power channel. Optimal correlations between sizes of antenna structural components are found. ^ EFFECT: reduced electrical sizes of antenna and improved matching in dual-mode operation. ^ 6 cl, 9 dwg |
