The ceiling has a matrix of caissons (1), each formed of an assembly of four profile units (2). The upper side of each caisson has, on its periphery, a slotted pin (8) and a clipsage spring (22), provided to cooperate with complementary clipsage spring and slotted pin (22, 8) fixed at a distance from the ceiling. The pins and springs are formed on a wall rail (18) fixed on the ceiling or a wall of a locale.
