The injector has a nozzle including a needle that is guided into a nozzle body (25). The needle controls a discharge orifice, which includes a thrust shoulder contacting with a high pressure chamber (40). A piston (38) is guided in a tight manner into an injector body (12) so as to decouple a spring chamber. The piston acts as valve blocking unit to release a fluid stream between the pressure chamber and a return pipe.
