The device has separation bodies (18, 19) presenting a passage opening that is adapted to maximum sectional area of a sample (11) and guides the sample into acceleration zones (12, 14). The separation bodies provide a partial zone which presents an open configuration in which the passage opening is formed, and another partial zone with a closed configuration in which the opening is reduced or closed. An independent claim is also included for a measurement device comprising the above dividing device.
