The seat trim consists of an air-permeable covering material (9a, 9b) with a seam line (8), an inner three-dimensional layer (17) and a distribution layer (15) between the two. It also has a layer of an air permeable reticulated foam (10a, 10b) under the covering material, which is fixed to the three-dimensional layer along the line of the seam (8). An independent claim is also included for a method of making the seat trim.
