Preparation of a composition (2-, 3-, 4-, 5- or 6-phenylalkanes) comprises alkylation of aromatic composition by a charge enclosing an olefin (having at least 9 carbon atoms) in the presence of a catalyst comprising a support (a zeolite or mixture of zeolite) and a matrix (aluminum-silica) comprising silicon dioxide (greater than 5% and lesser than 95%) at the base. Preparation of a composition (2-, 3-, 4-, 5- or 6-phenylalkanes) comprises alkylation of aromatic composition by a charge enclosing an olefin (having at least 9 carbon atoms) in the presence of a catalyst comprising a support (a zeolite or mixture of zeolite) and a matrix (aluminum-silica) comprising silicon dioxide (greater than 5% and lesser than 95%) at the base, where the catalyst has: a mean porous diameter (20-140Å)-; total porous volume (0.1-0.6 ml/g)-; a porous volume (greater than 140 (preferably 500)Å and lesser than 0.1ml/g) in the pores measured by porosimeter with the mercury; specific surface BET (100-850 m2>/g); density (0.65 g/cm3>) of filling cup after calcination; total porous volume (0.1-0.6 ml/g) measured by nitrogen porosimeter; and an X-ray diffraction diagram containing the principle lines comprising at least a transition state aluminum (aluminum alpha , rho , khi, eta , gamma , kappa, theta or delta ), where the process occurs at 30-400[deg]C, 0.1-10 Mpa pressure, 0.5-200 h-1> spatial speed schedule and 1:1-50:1 molar ratio of aromatic/olefin composition. |
