The device has a part (3) with cams (4) cooperating with cavities (7) of a wheel (2) to avoid rotation of the wheel with respect to an axle (1). The part (3) is supported on a surface to oppose compression of a spring (6) for disengaging cams from the cavities so that a pin joint between the axle and wheel is free to allow rotation of the wheel with axle. The part (3) and cams are placed inside a hollow zone (5) of the axle.
