PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection unit for crime prevention which is capable of discharging moisture to the outside of the unit, without stagnating the moisture in a body, even when the moisture infiltrates into the body through a voice-generating hole for a speaker or the like. SOLUTION: A moisture extracting hole (22) is provided on the surface of a body (11) constituting a case for the detection unit (1) for crime prevention, together with a voice generating hole (21), while a moisture flowing hole (23) used both for the extraction of moisture is provided on the bottom unit (12) of the body (11).
