SOLUTION: In the organic electroluminescent element, having an emission layer arranged between a pair of electrodes, the emission layer contains an emission material, and a host polymer having a first unit interacting with the emission material and a second unit having a conjugated and nonconjugated structure so that energy can be transmitted to the emission material.
