PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a rotating laser device on an optional position; to perform accurate measurement; and to confirm and correct a shift even when a lately-generated position shift occurs in the rotating laser device, without being influenced by the installation state such as inclination of the rotating laser device. SOLUTION: This laser measuring system is equipped with the rotating laser device 1 for irradiating rotatively laser beams, and at least one light receiving device 2 having at least one light receiving part for receiving the laser beams. In the system, the rotating laser device emits at least two fan-shaped laser beams at least one of which is tilted, and the light receiving device receives the laser beams at at least three known points, determines an elevation angle with respect to the rotating laser device based on a light receiving signal formed by receiving light by the light receiving part, and measures the installation position of the rotating laser device based on the elevation angles and position data of the three known points.
