PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioner with a defrosting function having high operating efficiency while maintaining heating performance. SOLUTION: The air-conditioner with the defrosting function comprises an outdoor unit 14 and an exhaust heat recovery unit 24 arranged in parallel, an outdoor unit valve 25 and an exhaust heat recovery unit valve 26 provided on the inlet side of the outdoor unit 14 and on the inlet side of the exhaust heat recovery unit, respectively, and a refrigerant circuit connecting a compressor 13 at its discharge side to the inlet of the outdoor unit 14 via a bypass on-off valve. The on-off valve is a bypass flow control valve 29. A defrosting operation program 431 controls the opening of the exhaust heat recovery unit valve 26 corresponding to the degree of suction overheat in the compressor after receiving a defrosting signal.
