PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of the equipment of a hydrogen gas remover. SOLUTION: In this absorption refrigerator having a hydrogen gas remover E removing the hydrogen gas produced in the refrigerator by oxidizing the hydrogen gas with a reducing reactant 41, the hydrogen gas remover E is disposed in the gas phase zone of a separator 26 separating an absorbent from a refrigerant vapor produced in a regenerator 3 or the gas phase zone of the regenerator 3. More desirably, the hydrogen gas remover E is disposed in the gas phase zone of the separator 26 or the regenerator 3 at a portion on the downstream side of an internal separator 26a separating the refrigerant vapor from a liquid-drip like absorbent following the refrigerant vapor in the refrigerant vapor passing direction.
