PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion apparatus capable of stably burning even in a compact combustion chamber. SOLUTION: In this combustion apparatus, a plurality of gas blowout parts 3 are formed at the tip side of a cylindrical combustion tube 1 in the distributed state in the circumferential direction of the combustion tube, and a bottomed cylindrical wind box W to which a combustion air from an air blow means 13 is introduced is installed to surround the rear end side portion of the combustion tube 1 in the state of forming an air introduction space 11 between the bottom wall 8b thereof and the rear end opening edge 1E of the combustion tube 1 opposed thereto and in the state of being positioned concentrically or roughly concentrically to the combustion tube 1. A gas fuel blown from the plurality of gas blowout parts 3 is burned by the combustion air flowing in the combustion tube 1 and discharged from the tip of the combustion tube 1. The wind box W is formed so that the combustion air from the air blow means 13 is led therein in the state of turning around the outer periphery of the combustion tube 1. The air introduction space 11 is formed so that different portions are present in the circumferential direction to reduce a difference in the amounts of the combustion air circumferentially introduced into the combustion tube 1 through the air introduction space 11.
