PRECEDING HANDRAIL OF PREFABRICATED SCAFFOLDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preceding handrail which has excellent moving operation of a handrail post to an upstairs floor of a prefabricated scaffolding and is easily handled. SOLUTION: The preceding handrail 1 comprises a plurality of handrail posts 8 which are removably fixed to posts 3 of standards 2; and extensible cross bars 9 which are installed between the respective handrail posts 8. The handrail post 8 is provided with an engaging hook 10 which holds the post 3 of the standard 2 and engages with a horizontal member 5 of the post 2. The engaging hook 10 is pivotably moved downwardly and has a spring which enables the pivotaly moved engaging hook 10 to return to an original position. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
