FINE METAL PARTICLE, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FINE METAL PARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the conventional problem that, when the particle size of metal particles is reduced, the metal particles are increased in specific surface area and oxidized at a low temperature in a short period of time and resultantly their storage in expensive inert gas is absolutely necessary and to manufacture fine metal particles storable in the atmosphere. SOLUTION: The fine metal particles less liable to be oxidized can be manufactured by cooling the vapor generated by pulsed electric heating of thin metal wire in a mist of organic matter and applying coating of the organic matter to the fine particles.
