PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a printing plate feeding method which can prevent poor conveyance from being caused when each set of printing plate and protective sheet is taken out from a stacked bundle constituted by alternately stacking a plurality of printing plates and a plurality of protective sheets, so as to be sequentially fed to the next step. SOLUTION: When the stacked bundles B are constituted by being separately placed and stacked a plurality of times, a pickup roller 52 is rotatively driven while being brought into pressure contact with a PS plate P (PS plate P7) arranged on the uppermost layer of the stacked bundle B2 positioned in the uppermost position of the stacked bundles B, so that each set of the PS plate P and a slip sheet can be taken out in a direction almost orthogonal to a stacking direction and sequentially fed to the next step. In this case, a rotational speed of the pickup roller 52 is controlled so that the PS plate P to be taken out can be accelerated, on condition that a solution Z to the expression, expressed as Z=(ΔK)Max-mp(Ve-Vs)/t, is set to a negative value.
