PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray tomographic method and tomograph solving a conventional problem and providing a high-resolution tomogram with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This X-ray tomograph is provided with an X-ray tube 1 and an X-ray detector 2 receiving an X-ray emitted from the X-ray tube, detects an X-ray projection image of a subject from various angles and provides the tomogram of the subject based on the detected data. This tomograph is further provided with a moving mechanism 15 which moves the X-ray tube according to the set imaging visual field and moves a weight 19 to reduce the movement of a gravity center position when the X-ray tube and the X-ray detector are moved.
