PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for laver picking, with which laver attached to a laver net is surely picked without unevenness and power required for rotating a rotary cutter is relatively lessened. SOLUTION: This apparatus (A) for laver picking is equipped with leg bodies (1), the rotary cutter (2) for leveling a revolving shaft (21) and adjusting its height between the leg bodies (1), a scattering preventing body (3) arranged in the vicinity of the rotary cutter (2), a motor (4) for driving the rotary cutter (2) and a desired number of laver net guide materials (5). The rotary cutter (2) has a desired number of blade bodies (24) in the direction of the axial periphery of the revolving shaft (21), each blade body (24) is divided into a plurality of parts in the direction of axis of the revolving shaft (21), and the blade line parts (240) of the each blade body (24) are shifted in positions in the direction of axial periphery of the revolving shaft (21). The direction of the blade line parts (240) is parallel to the direction of axis of the revolving shaft (21) and each blade body (24) is equipped with a plurality of wheel bodies (25) having the same diameter as the rotary locus of the blade line part (240) at fixed intervals in the direction of axis of the revolving shaft (21).
