[PROBLEMS] To provide a radioactive composition which contains, as an active ingredient, iomazenil labelled with radioactive iodine and has a makeup capable of inhibiting the iomazenil labelled with radioactive iodine from being decomposed by a radiation; and a process for producing the composition without fail. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Ascorbic acid is incorporated into a composition which contains, as an active ingredient, iomazenil labelled with radioactive iodine, whereby the compound can be inhibited from being decomposed by a radiation. In the step of purifying the composition, a hydrophobic organic solvent is used. Immediately after the solvent extraction step employing the organic solvent, the eluate is added to an aqueous solution containing ascorbic acid. Thus, the composition can be produced without fail.
