<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire which can prevent the increase of the number of steps for applying waterproofing treatment, and is good in appearance; a process for manufacturing the electric wire; and a wire harness,. <P>SOLUTION: The electric wire 1 according to the present invention comprises a core wire 11 obtained by twisting a plurality of strands 10, 10, ... and a coating part 12 which coats this core wire 11. Further, this electric wire 1 is provided with a filling part 13 with which the gaps between the strands 10, 10, ... are filled. The filling part 13 can be provided by welding the strands 10, 10, ... and filling a sealing material between the strands 10, 10, .... According to the present invention, the gaps between the strands 10, 10, ... is filled with the filling part 13 so that the transmission of water due to the capillarity. Thus, no post-treatment is required after the manufacture of the electric wire 1, in order to apply waterproofing treatment thereto, and the increase of the number of steps is prevented.
