<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter with a fluid sealing part inside a tubular body of the catheter, permitting the operation of a sealing member with small force without using a specific inflation adapter by sealing the fluid sealing part with the close adhesion of the movable sealing member and a sealed part inside the tubular body, and permitting easy manufacture without requiring a strict tolerance in the manufacturing process. <P>SOLUTION: The catheter is for expanding or closing a living body lumen, and consists of a balloon, the tubular body 205 with an inflation lumen 201 in which the fluid for inflating or deflating the balloon can move, and the fluid sealing part 202 for sealing the fluid.
