<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably control the electrification of transfer residual toner without reducing productivity in printing, and also, to efficiently eject the transfer residual toner to a photoreceptor. <P>SOLUTION: At least two flat surfaces are formed at the leading end part of a brush part 54, then, even when the toner is accumulated on one flat surface of the brush part 54, the polarity of the toner continuously remaining on the photoreceptor can be changed by the other flat surface with no toner stuck only by rotating a brush roller 34. Thus, it is unnecessary to perform a mode of applying a voltage having the same polarity as that of the toner on a rotating shaft 52 and ejecting the toner from the brush part 54 to the photoreceptor 13, what is called, an ejection mode whenever the toner is accumulated on the brush part 54.
