PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a figure object designation device allowing an operator to easily designate an object inside a display screen of the object. SOLUTION: This figure object designation device designating the object that is an editing target among objects of figures present in an editing area of a figure editing device according to a position of a mouse cursor has: an object management part 6 managing the mouse cursor position and object information; a rule storage part 3 previously storing key input showing a direction to which the mouse cursor moves and assignment of the key input designating the object just under the mouse cursor as a rule; a trigger processing part 4 generating an object designation trigger or a mouse cursor movement trigger according to the key input and the rule; and an object designation part 5 performing the movement of the mouse cursor or the designation of the object that is the editing target on the basis of the object information and the trigger.
